Mr. Big: In-depth Interview With Billy Sheehan (Audio)

By Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal, August 2nd 2011, Los Angeles CA: I had the immense pleasure of interviewing my favorite bassist today, none other than Billy Sheehan. I talked to him about his band Mr. Big's current run of US dates, which is their first US tour in 15 years. We also discussed the band's new album "What If..", the Japan disaster, and the reason why there's always a Japanese bonus track on album releases.

We go on to talk about Billy's never-ending learning process, the common misconception with 5-string and 6-string bass play, the future of Mr. Big and his other projects, and being an iTunes aficionado. Listen to the 13-minute chat below, and make sure you go to a Mr. Big show this month!
