I spoke to legendary drummer Gene Hoglan today to talk about his first ever instructional DVD 'The Atomic Clock' and how he managed to get that nickname for himself. He was quite flattered when I called him the 'most complete drummer' and talked about why certain drummers get locked into a genre. He also spoke about his inspirations and influences, the younger generation of drummers, the story behind him joining Fear Factory and what is up with the band Meldrum.
