In-person interview with Danny Leal of Upon A Burning Body

By Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal

May 16th 2010, Fox Theatre, Pomona CA

I caught up with Danny Leal, the vocalist of Upon A Burning Body after they finished playing their set at the California Metalfest IV. He talked about playing at the California Metalfest, the band's image being based on Al Pacino's characters, the new album 'The World Is Ours', still being an underground band, the scene in Texas, compliments from the founder of Sumerian Records, stage costumes, influences and upcoming shows among other things, including a reaction of utter shock on hearing about Ronnie James Dio's death. Listen to the chat below!
