It takes a special level of finesse, expertise and power to stand out above and beyond everyone else in a genre flooded with bands, and San Francisco group Castle certainly possesses that in plenty. The stoner doom band has left minds blown and audiences awe-struck with every studio release and live performance in their nearly ten-year long career thus far, and it comes as no surprise that the powers-that-be at Ripple Music have summoned Castle to join and decorate the much lauded stoner metal record label’s roster of great bands.
Castle’s last studio album Welcome to the Graveyard (2016) is still in heavy rotation among fans of the genre, and its follow-up record will serve as the band’s Ripple Music debut. Castle’s fourth LP Deal Thy Fate is set for release on October 19 2018 on vinyl, limited edition vinyl, CD and digital formats.
