On Thursday March 22, Metal Assault had the pleasure of hosting two amazing touring bands at the 5 Star Bar, War Cloud from Oakland CA and Holy Grove from Portland, Oregon, both of the stoner rock ilk, along with local hard rock/metal heroes Void Vator and Fallen Suns, and regional support act House Of Broken Promises. It was a show to remember for a long, long time, as all the bands put in truly mind-blowing performances. We have no doubt that if you were there, you’re not forgetting this show any time soon, but in case you happened to miss it, here is our photographer Robert DeAnda‘s pictorial recap, (minus HOBP photos, whose set he missed, unfortunately):
